[post_page_title]Shih Tzu[/post_page_title]
Shih Tzus are one of the most recognizable small dogs thanks to their long hair, but did you know their name translates to “little lion”? It’s thanks to that long mane of fur this breed has earned their title.
Shih Tzus were first introduced to the world around 1,000 BCE as Ancient Chinese cultures welcomed their ancestors into their homes. Amazingly, the breed almost disappeared until 14 dogs brought them back from the brink of extinction.
