Here’s a sheepdog with Turkestan roots and a connection to the Mastiff family. Just that latter fact alone should give you a bit off an understanding that these dogs are certainly not to be trifled with.
With a bite force as strong as 743 PSI, they’re obviously dangerous if you upset them, so do not do anything of the sort. However, when they are treated right and feel connected to their peers, they are like gentle giants with strong protective instincts.
