[post_page_title]Chow chow[/post_page_title]
Believe it or not, but it’s what’s on the inside that makes this breed of dog so unique. The chow chow actually has a blue tongue! Their tongues change color as they age until they are almost black in color by the time they are adults.
Although their fluffy coat is enough to leave many wanting a cuddle, it seems as though all that hair can cause an issue for the breed. Chow chow owners are advised to keep them away from water as their coat can easily become too heavy for them to swim.
