The Blue Heeler is a lively dog, always up for some playful interaction. They’re also very loyal, so if you simply put in the love and time, you’ll have yourself a pretty well rounded dog.
Their Australian counterparts, the Australian Blue Heelers, are also pretty useful. These dogs are bold and protective, but the key with them is to keep them stimulated with social interaction and purpose. If not, they may spiral out of control and get antsy with aggression.
