The press quickly began to hound Nadia Comaneci, with newspapers and television reporters from around the world wanting to speak to the little girl who literally broke Olympic gymnastics.
The press even gave her a theme song. The song was a part of a movie score called Bless the Beasts and Children, and the song itself was at first called Cotton’s Dream. However, once ABC’s Wide World of Sports used it to showcase Nadia, it quickly became her theme song.
