It seems that a lot of the drama surrounding Meghan and the Queen’s Royal Collection was sparked by the Duchess of Sussex hoping to wear a specific necklace. According to Gavin Gray, one of the royal commentators, Meghan desired to wear this piece from the collection and Harry gave her permission. However, the Queen then bit back telling her grandson that his wife doesn’t get to wear what she wants, no matter what. She’s the only one who gets to decide what someone can wear when it comes to the collection.
