Not only has the Queen banned Meghan from using any of her jewels but she also personally informed Prince William of her decision. Apparently, this news didn’t go down so well with Prince Harry, and it has reportedly sparked yet more tension between the two brothers. The goal of the monarchy is survival, and the Queen has made this tough decision to upset Harry, but in her eyes, it’s all for the preservation of the family. Kate will sit alongside William when he is King, and she has been given pretty much complete access to Elizabeth II’s collection. It is at the Queen’s discretion who gets to wear her jewels, and for now, Meghan has no hope.
