Rottweilers are used to a working life thanks to the Ancient Romans. The Romans conquered a town in Germany where they soon discovered the breed of dog.
They were perfect to help shepherd cattle around the city while also being the ideal amount of muscle the army needed to take with them to war. It wasn’t long before they were used as the equivalent of horses all across the town. The breed nearly went extinct thanks to the invention of modern rail but has thankfully made a comeback in modern years.
