[post_page_title]Boxer[/post_page_title]
It seems as though many dog breeds in the world originated from Germany. Boxers are no exception. The breed was first created to help humans hunt large prey, such as bears and wild boar.
This is where their unique head shape came into play. It’s thought the perfect boxer’s snout should be half the length of their skull meaning their impressive underbite can help to hold onto most prey. To top it off, many believe the breed earned their name thanks to their love of boxing with their front paws when standing on their hind legs.
