The Huntress is another of those hero identities that has been played by different characters over the years. Three women have portrayed the Huntress in the comics, with Helena Bertinelli and Helena Wayne being the two people most commonly associated with the name. Although the character started as a villain, her allegiance changed with Wayne who was the daughter of Batman and Catwoman. The interpretation here seems to be most closely connected with that of Bertinelli, the daughter of a mafia boss who set out to avenge the passing of her family.
