Although Jennifer is now retired, she recently made headlines. Her bronze medal at the 2011 IAAF World Championships, was turned into a silver after the champion Tatyana Chernova was disqualified for illegally using performance-enhancements.

She stood alongside the former second place, now first place champion Britain’s Jessica Ennis. It was an emotional day for the two of them, who had been cheated from their well-deserved medals for years.
