Dirk and Nash together breathed some life into the Dallas Mavericks, even though the two weren’t able to win a championship for the city. The duo arrived in Dallas the same year, 1998, Dirk through the draft and Nash via trade from the Phoenix Suns. During the 2000-01 season, Nash and Nowitzki hit their stride together, leading the team to a 53-29 record and Dallas’ first trip to the playoffs in 12 years. The duo played together for six seasons with a 281-179 record.
