The 76ers had lost in the Finals three times in less than a decade when Moses Malone arrived in Philadelphia. They had just lost to the LA Lakers 4-2, then everything flipped. During the 1981-82 season Julius Erving and Moses Malone teamed up in the City of Brotherly Love, winning 65 games and leading the team to a championship. The two would share a court until the 1985-86 season and would lead the Sixers to a 229-99 record over those years.
