Before there was Shaq and Kobe there was Shaq and Penny, Penny Hardaway that is. The two teamed up in Orlando during the mid 1990s, from 1993-96. The young franchise had a losing record the three seasons before Shaq arrived, when they jumped to .500. The following season, when Shaq and Hardaway teamed up for the first time, the Orlando Magic won 50 games and made the postseason for the first time. The Magic went 167-79 during during the three seasons they played together, going to the playoffs every season, including a Finals appearance in 1994-95 (they were swept by the Rockets).
