Here’s another duo who could never win a championship, but nevertheless dazzled us on the court. During their five full seasons together, McGrady and Yao made it to the postseason four times, but found it hard to get past the conference semi finals. Regardless,they put on some great basketball, winning over 50 games during those four seasons. But both players were riddled by injuries, which arguably cost them a chance at a title, and eventually brought Yao’s career to an early end in 2011, after sitting out all of the 09-10 season with a foot injury.
