The duo spent five seasons together in Los Angeles, from 1968 to 1973. During those seasons, the Lakers made the Finals four times, losing once to the Celtics, who were in the midst of a dominating decade, and twice to the Knicks. They also defeated the Knicks in the 1972 Finals, wrapping up a 69-13 season with a Championship. West put up 25.8 PPG that season while Chamberlain pulled down an insane 19.2 rebounds a game.
