You’ve got to be kidding me: the biggest blown calls of all time

[post_page_title]Pass interference vs. illegal man on the field[/post_page_title]
After a wild first half, the New York Giants found themselves with a 28-14 lead during the 2002 Wild Card game versus the 49ers. The GMen added to their lead in the third, taking a 38-14 lead. Their lead would slowly evaporate before their eyes. But the controversial call in this game came on a field goal attempt. Giants holder Matt Allen picked up a bobbled snap and attempted to pass it to Rich Seubert, but Seubert was knocked down before he could catch it, in what looked like a pass interference. But the refs called a penalty on the Giants instead of the 49ers, saying there was an illegal man downfield, even though Seubert had checked in as eligible. The 49ers won 39-38 and the following day the league admitted the officials made the wrong call.
