You’ve got to be kidding me: the biggest blown calls of all time

[post_page_title]Goodbye, perfection[/post_page_title]
This is one of the worst calls in the history of sports, if not the worst. Only 23 pitchers have ever thrown a perfect game. No runs, no hits, not one player reaches base. On June 2, 2010, Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga had a perfect game stolen from him. The Tigers were playing the Indians, and Galarraga retired 26 batters one after the other. One batter left, two outs in the top of the ninth. The Indians Jason Donald hit a pitch between first and second, Miguel Cabrera fields the ball, throwing to Galarraga who made it to first in time, except first base umpire Jim Joyce called him safe. Bye, bye perfect game. Jim Joyce will later admit to his mistake, but it’s too late.
