[post_page_title]Scottie Pippen & Michael Jordan[/post_page_title]
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are regarded as the best duo in the history of the NBA. Unlike Jordan, who hit the court running, scoring 28.2 PPG his rookie season with the Bulls, it took Pippen a bit longer to develop his game. Pippin had a break out season his sophomore year and never looked back. Neither did the Bulls. The duo went on to dominate the 1990s, three-peating twice, in 1991, ’92, and ’93 and again in ’96, ’97 and ’98 (and remember that Jordan took a break from basketball in 1993-4 to try his hand at baseball). Their 72-win season in 1995-96 was the best in NBA history for 20 years, until the Golden State Warriors broke the record during the 2015-16 season.
