The curse of the what? The most notorious sports curses around the globe

[post_page_title]The Curse of the Colonel[/post_page_title]
More than three decades ago, in 1985, the Hanshin Tigers shocked the country when they made it to Japan’s baseball finals series. The fans in Osaka were so excited that they grabbed a statue of Colonel Sanders from a KFC nearby and threw it in the river. Over the next 18 seasons, the Hanshin Tiger finished at the bottom of the league, or second to last, 16 times. They made it to the series once, in 2003, but lost. In 2009, after years of searching, the Colonel’s statue was finally found. The Hanshin Tigers still haven’t won a series, and fans believe the curse is still intact.
