[post_page_title]Rickey Henderson[/post_page_title]
Rickey Henderson retired from Major League Baseball in 2003, when he was 44 years old. But his playing career didn’t stop then. The left fielder continued playing for another two years in independent leagues. Henderson is the league leader in stolen bases and runs, and during the five seasons he played as a 40-year-old, he added 109 stolen bases and 281 runs. But during his final two seasons, 2002 and 2003, he played fewer games, 72 and 30 respectively.
