Everyone thought that Claude Lemieux’s career had come to an end after the 2002-2003 season, and it was a respectable career. Lemieux played for 20 seasons winning the Stanley Cup with three different teams. He retired after that season, in which he played for the Dallas Stars. But in 2008-09, Lemieux, then 43 years old, made a comeback with the Sharks. He made his way back through the farm system and played with the San Jose Sharks for 18 regular-season games and into the postseason before he retired again, and for the last time.
