Julio Franco had already tallied more than 2,000 hits by the time he turned 40. He played for 23 seasons in the MLB, and continued playing even after retiring in 2007. The following year he played in the Mexican League and several years after he played for the Fort Worth Cats. He even took a role as a player/manager for a Japanese team and played as a 57-year-old. Franco was a 5-time Silver Slugger while in the Majors and won the Batting Title once.
