This curse was around for quite a while. Legend says Romani put a curse on Birmingham FC after they were removed from their homes in order to build a stadium on the grounds. Over the years, managers and players tried to get rid of the bad luck, Barry Fry used to urinate in the corners of the pitch. But in 2016, 110 years after the curse was placed on the club, the curse was supposedly lifted by an upholsterer and a priest who sprinkled holy water on the new fabric.
