Brett Favre just couldn’t stay retired. After 16 seasons with the Packers he left the team, aged 38. At 39 he was the Jets starting quarterback. At age 40 he was the starting QB for the Vikings, and officially retired at the age of 41 after two seasons in Minnesota. During the season in which Favre turned 40, the quarterback led the team to the NFC Championship game, but lost to New Orleans. He also earned his 11th Pro Bowl.
