Concepcion Montaner is a Spanish track and field athlete who got her first taste of international competition way back in 1998, getting 10th place at the World Junior Championships. She continued to compete, long jumping to bronze at the 1999 European Athletics Junior Championships, gold at the 2000 World Junior Championships, and silver at the 2007 European indoor championships. Montaner was chosen to represent her native Spain as a long jumper at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but she only placed 15th.
