Brooke Stratton never let her setbacks get her down, and she continued to work hard in order to get better. All of that hard work paid off, and back in 2016, she was able to go to the Olympics to represent her native Australia. Stratton competed well and finished in seventh place overall in the Olympic long jump competition. Additionally, Brooke competed in the Perth Track Classic earlier that year and set a record for Australian women’s long jumping, launching herself nearly 23 feet!
