Alina Rotaru continued to compete despite getting knocked out of the 2010 World Junior Championships. She went on to participate in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, winning silver. She continued to compete in various international competitions, but started slowing down a bit in 2014. However, Alina Rotaru competed in a competition in Gammertingen, Germany, achieving a personal best of 22 and a quarter feet! We are sure that all of the Romanians are proud of her.
