After the Lizzie McGuire television series came to an end, the characters were welcomed back in The Lizzie McGuire movie, where Paolo played the main antagonist. The handsome Italian pop star who convinces Lizzie to ditch her school trip to hang out with him, Paolo captures Lizzie’s heart before being revealed as a big phony. He is busted when Gordo comes to the rescue, turning on Paolo’s mic when he is lip synching, exposing his less than stellar singing voice.

Although he enjoyed some success before appearing as Paolo in the Lizzie McGuire Movie, Yani Gellman is now recognized for his role as Officer Garrett Reynolds in the popular teen drama series Pretty Little Liars. He also appeared in soap opera The Young and the Restless and teen drama series 90210, in addition to many guest starring roles on other television shows. He recently was seen in the drama series Dynasty and will also be featured in web series Bosch next year.
