Darya Klishina was one of the few Russian athletes to be able to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro following a cheating scandal amongst Russian Olympians. She was at first barred from competing, but was allowed to compete following a successful appeal. She finished in ninth place overall – marking the first time in 20 years that a Russian didn’t medal in the long jump. Darya also models on the side, and is sponsored by Seiko.
