Starting out at age eight, Alicia Sacramone knew that she wanted to be a gymnast from the moment she stepped out onto the mat.
She began competing when she was 11, and first joined the national team at age 12. She eventually went on to go and compete for Team America at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she brought home the silver medal. She also went on to win 10 World Championship gymnastics medals, making her the second most decorated American in history.
