Lynsey Dyer was born and raised in the small western town of Sun Valley, Idaho, where she began learning how to ski shortly after she began walking. Growing up in the shadows of both Bald Mountain as well as Dollar Mountain, Dyer developed a passion for both Freestyle as well as big mountain skiing. She won the 2004 International Freeskiers Association North American Tour competition, and was the first woman to appear on the cover of Freeskier Magazine.
