[post_page_title]Flower power – 1967[/post_page_title]
Protesters marched to the Pentagon in a bid to end the war in Vietnam. The march was organized by the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam.
A protestor met the threat of a gun with a bunch of flowers and proceeded to put them down the barrels of the weapons. It was a part of the Flower power movement acting as a symbol of a non-violent protest and a representation of how photojournalists can help bring a movement closer to people.
