Workers taking a lunch break during the construction of the Rockefeller Center in New York City were snapped casually sitting while the world carried on oblivious to them hundreds of feet below.
The image has been one of the most widely used since it was taken and was reportedly used to advertise the Rockefeller Center opening. The image is undoubtedly a piece of American history as it was a symbol of the country working their way through the Great Depression of the 1930s.
