[post_page_title]War is Hell – 1965[/post_page_title]
This photo was taken during the Vietnam War in 1965. The message written on the soldier’s helmet was a simplistic representation of how difficult it must have been trampling through the jungles of Vietnam with death around every corner.
The Vietnam War was abhorred by many citizens in the United States, and this picture perfectly represented their opinions. It also made many people come to terms with the reality facing the American troops stationed out in Vietnam.
